Will you choose to no longer be held hostage by your personal core issue and let it corrupt your relationship problem? Will your long held wounded influences of the past determine when to end it, when to end your relationship that is. Choosing the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) as your modality is a first brave step toward finally being truly free in a healthy relationship. It might be the same one you’re in now, (though transformed to reflect who you are now, not used to be) or it may be a new one in the future. But how do you pick the right EFT coach for you with regards to working on the personal issues that will best help your relationship status?
Did you know that EFT can be done in the privacy of your own home? A good EFT coach will teach you how to do this properly while you are under his or her care. The guidance of an experienced and talented EFT coach is worth its weight in gold, especially if you have found yourself trying it on your own based on some YouTube videos that you may have watched. Homework and guided tapping sessions, whether over the phone, via Skype, or in person, complement each other for maximum benefit to the client.
Choose an EFT coach whom you have great rapport with. You can determine this even in the first 15 minutes before making a long-term commitment. We offer, for example, a free 15-minute consultation and there have been times when it is not a right match with a client and he/she is referred to another EFT practitioners who would be a better match.
Realize that healing resides within your mind and body, and that EFT is just there as a modality to support your healing, not to fix you. Your EFT coach is not there to heal you but to awaken your own healing. An intuitive EFT coach is often needed, especially at first, because by herself, the client might not proceed in the most efficacious direction and take much longer to accomplish good results. A talented and well-trained EFT coach sees past the presenting problem to the core issue and these are almost always two different things. I always tell my students this.
There are other things to look out for in choosing the right EFT coach for you, but as with so many things, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. The only time you’ll really know you made the right choice is somewhere down the road, in the evidence of healing and transformed relationships.
